| Pastor Pastor Matt Boyers
received his undergraduate degree in Construction Management
Engineering from Purdue University, and his seminary training from
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois with a
Masters of Religious Education Degree. He served as a Pastor for 19
1/2 years before coming to Crossroads in 2002 as a Teaching Pastor. Crossroads membership affirmed Matt as Pastor in June 2006. Matt and his wife, Lanita, have four children and live in Archbold. Pastor of Senior High Youth
Ministries Crossroads welcomed Nate Hamblin to the staff in August 2004 as
Director of Senior High Youth Ministries. Nate graduated from
Huntington College in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry
and has five years of experience in youth ministry. He and his wife,
Amanda, have been married since July 2002. Pastor of Junior High Ministries Tyler Quillet was born and raised in
the Crossroads Evangelical Church family. He Graduated from Wauseon
High School and graduated from Spring Arbor University with a degree
in Chistian Ministries and a minor in Youth Ministry. Worship Pastor Kevin Clark has served as Worship Pastor at Crossroads since July
2006. He came to Crossroads from Oasis Christian Fellowship in
Wauseon, where he served as an associate pastor in the worship
ministry for four years. A native of Winchester, Kentucky, he
graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a B.A. in
Christian Ministry and Bible in 1999. He went on to earn his
M.A. in Contemporary Theology from Lincoln Christian Seminary
(Lincoln, IL) in 2002. He's been married to his wonderful
wife, Amy, since 1999 and has one daughter, Mayzie, age 3.
Apart from spending time with family, Kevin enjoys movies, reading,
concerts and cheering for his hapless Chicago Cubs and Cleveland
Browns. Pastor
of Outreach Wes Hoffmire has been
married to his wife, Lynne, for sixteen years. They have two daughters,
ages 12 and 9. Wes
served on staff at Crossroads as Counseling Pastor for ten years
before entering a private practice in the fall of 2004. He then served on the Elder
Board beginning in June 2006 before returning to a staff position as
Pastor of Outreach in March 2008. Wes will be giving
leadership to our Henry County Initiative as we take steps toward
offering a worship service in Napoleon.
Children's Programming
Director Kelly McDermott provides leadership to the area of Children's ministries at Crossroads. That involves creating a loving atmosphere for children and communicating the importance and value of children's ministries. She and her husband, Jaret, have a son and two daughters.
Office Administration
Sherrill Woodard has
served as secretary at Crossroads since November 2005. She
graduated from Spring Arbor University with her bachelor's degree in
social work in the spring of 2003. She and her husband, Dave
(aka: Woody), were married the following October and now call
Wauseon home. Both are involved as youth leaders for the
Junior High youth here at Crossroads.
Karen Lugbill was
originally from Quincy, MI. She attended Huntington University
where she majored in Sociology. She and her husband, Jeff,
have one daughter, Ashlynne, age 3. Along with working
at Crossroads two days a week, Karen sings on the
worship team, helps in the nursery and is the church Wedding Coordinator.
Karen also works part time at Four County Family Center.
Her hobbies include special event cake decorating, scrapbooking, sports and
hunting and fishing when time allows.
